workshops for children and youth

Each temporary exhibition presented in the Galeria Labirynt is accompanied by an educational programme, which explains and completes the subject matter of the exhibition, and brings the issues related to contemporary art closer. It includes art workshops for children and youth, which are adapted to the age of participants. Workshops are focused on developing creative thinking, and they are conducted using activating teaching methods.

Meetings for seniors aim at bringing subject matters of contemporary art closer, which is often related to the use of multimedia. Thanks to attractive form of transmission and workshops, participants have an opportunity to better understand modern art, and they become artists. Open meetings are focused on a dialogue and mutual discovering of contemporary art issues.

The above mentioned workshops are dedicated to organized groups, after a prior date arrangement.

Participation in workshops is free, the Gallery provides all of the necessary materials.

Duration: around 60 minutes.

SATURDAY IN THE LABYRINTH

family workshops

Saturday educational workshops are dedicated to children (4-11 years old) and their guardians. The participants of workshops make artworks inspired by the exhibition, explore how artists work, puzzle out riddles and answer questions raised during the viewing of the exhibition. Children, as well as parents, can become convinced of the fact that contemporary art is interesting, and that it is worth to interprete it in many different ways.

Workshops take place almost on every Saturday at 12 p.m. There is need to sign up beforehand. Participation in workshops is free, the Gallery provides all of the necessary materials.
