Mały Atlas Polskiej Animacji

M. A. P. A. Mały Atlas Polskiej Animacji

Julian Antonisz (1941 – 1987), multimedia artist, filmmaker, author of experimental animated films, avant-garde composer and inventor. Since 1997 Antonisz has been consistently realising his films in so-called “non-camera” technique without using a film camera. He made his debut with FOBIA (PHOBIA) (1967), a daring grotesque on the “feelings” of an artist-painter out in the open. Antonisz’ unique productions were awarded at a number of national and international festivals of animated films. His uniquely original and “vibrant” style always lingers in the memory of everybody who experienced his work. In the set there will be presented artist’s early productions from the “non-camera era” realised in the Cracow Studio of Film Miniatures. Antonisz’ debut film, SŁOŃCE. FILM BEZ KAMERY (SUN. A NON-CAMERA FILM) marking the beginning of the “non-camera era” will also be screened.
