Małgorzata Pawlak (born 1991 in Opole Lubelskie) is the last year’s graduate of Painting at the UMCS Faculty of Arts (diploma supervised by Professor Jacek Wojciechowski). The first solo exhibition of the artist, entitled Bez obrazy/No Offence, is going to present her recent works executed between 2015 and 2017: paintings, objects and painting installations. Pawlak’s works are a reflection on the essence of painting and being a painter.

8.20 p.m. Performance Art Meeting

Peformance Art Meetings are intimate meetings with performance art which last several hours and are performed by both recognized artists and the budding ones who experiment, search for new forms. During the Night of Culture the participants of Galeria Labirynt’s Performance Art Studio will presents their programme. The Studio is an experiment functioning beyond academic structures. It was launched by Waldemar Tatarczuk and is an entirely informal in its existence. The main field of the Studio’s activities is public space. The students participating in the Performance Art Studio execute ephemeral actions and video performances. The actions will begin at 8.20 p.m. in front of Galeria Labirynt | Plaza and will head towards the Old Town.
