Open Labirynt

We would like to invite you to visit “Three Plagues” exhibition – in particular its part presenting works of young artists selected in open call. The presented works relate to broadly understood present political and social situation as well as to the vision of future defined by this situation. The artists are interested in way people born and raised in the 3rd Republic of Poland define current problems of their generation and challenges awaiting them in the future. “The Sleep of Reason” motto refers to the title of etching 43 by Francisco Goya from “Los Caprichos” series (1797-1799). The full title sounds “The sleep of reason produces monsters” and is a warning against being subjected to the state of “sleep” and the loss of critical thinking.
