Growing Art – family workshops inspired by Land Art

[Workshop in Polish translated into the Polish sign language]

We would like to invite children aged 6-12 to participate in family workshops! This time we are going to meet on the grass in front of Galeria Labirynt, by the Baobab tree (ul. Ks. J. Popiełuszki 5).

Artists often take the natural world inside the gallery. However, we are going to bring the world of art to the grass. We are going to be inspired by the works of Dominik Lejman, Teresa Murak, Ana Roldan and Richard Long. What organic traces can we see in their works? We are going to create magic circles – mandalas – from the materials found in the meadow. Feel invited to Labirynt!

🏛 The workshops are going to take place in the green area next to Galeria Labirynt, and in case of bad weather – in the education room (ul. ks. J. Popiełuszki 5). Please bring your own blanket. For safety reasons we limited the number of people participating in the event. Each child can take part in the workshop with one parent/caretaker. We would also like to remind that face and mouth coverings must be worn throughout the whole event. We regularly disinfect surfaces in the gallery and provide hand sanitiser.

🧏 Workshops can be translated into the Polish sign language (PJM) – let us know via e-mail at edu@labirynt.com if you need an interpreter at least 3 days before the workshops.
📩 Registration via email at edu@labirynt.com or in a private message to the Edu Labirynt Facebook fanpage (please provide full name and age of the child; in the subject of the email please type date and name of the workshop; please provide information about the need to provide a sign language interpreter).

🎨 The necessary materials are provided by Galeria Labirynt.
