See the Art on Friday – guided tours for adults

Guided tour in English by Krystian Kamiński.

See the Art on Friday is a new series aimed at adult viewers. Every exhibition presented in Galeria Labirynt will be accompanied by free guided tours in Polish, English, Ukrainian, and Polish Sign Language (PJM).

In June and July, we invite you to meetings accompanying Ventriloquist and Silent Paintings – interactive exhibition that only seemingly is intended for the youngest viewers. It is an interesting starting point to talk about the role of the viewer in the perception of works of art designed for direct interaction with people.

Polish artists working in the field of new media and between art and science were invited to participate in the exhibition. They explore the world of sounds by creating and composing music, moreover, they implement creative projects that are a combination of various disciplines. Presented works of art are an incentive for direct contact that allows the viewers to activate numerous senses at the same time. The works play with perception, unexpectedly make sounds and also tempt to try to get to know them by touch. The exhibition includes objects, installations, works of art of musical instruments character as well as sound sculptures.

The exhibition is available to people with visual impairments. Materials in Braille were prepared by KUL CAN – Centre for Adaptation of Educational Materials for Students with a Visual Impairment.
