Bio of artists

Maria Kniaginin-Ciszewska, born in 1998 in Warsaw, graduated in photography from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Her interests revolve around stereotypes and their presentation in culture. As an independent visual artist, she works between reality and fantasy, penetrating social and cultural norms. By creating representations of the female form, she explores the boundaries of taboos and icons. She discovers artifacts of Polishness, or more broadly of Slavicness, combining them with the concepts of the body and interpersonal relations. More: mariaciszewska.com
