He was born in 1942 in Korytno; he died in 1980 in Lublin.
Over the period 1961–1967, he studied at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the supervision of Professor Artur Nacht-Samborski and Professor Lucjan Pakulski. In 1967, he got his diploma in painting. Painter (easel and wall painting), graphic artist, draftsman, who also practiced poetry and essay writing. He was a teacher in numerous secondary schools in Lublin. From 1973, he was a lecturer in painting and drawing at the Institute of Artistic Education at UMCS in Lublin.
