He was born in 1942 in Bydgoszcz.
Over the period 1962–1968, he studied at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He got his diploma in the studio of Professor Krystyna Studnicka. Artist of conceptual, action and manifestation art.
