Queerujemy Lublin vol. 2

Biblioteka Azyl and Galeria Labirynt invite you to participate in the second edition of “Queerujemy Lublin” open call. The first edition of the project, implemented as part of The Europe Challenge, has resulted in 7 original art works such as exhibitions, performance and lecture. We also organized workshops, meetings, a queer open mic and musical events.
“Queerujemy Lublin” aim is to build relationships between Biblioteka Azyl and local LGBTQIA+ community. All projects chosen as part of the “Queerujemy Lublin”, will be presented at Biblioteka Azyl’s facilities.

Who can apply:
This Open Call is addressed to young (15-30-year-old) LGBTQIA+ people living in Lublin. Applications can be submitted by individuals, duos, or collectives. You do not need to have experience in organizing events or artistic achievements to be able to submit a project. Our team will help you meet your requirements and needs during your process.

Amount of a microgrant:
Applications can be submitted up to a maximum amount of €300 per project.

What can you use microgrants for:
We are providing funds to bring your queer thoughts and ideas into action. The proposed initiatives can take on any form. e.g. events with or without an audience, workshops, meetings with authors, lectures, poetry readings, concerts, radio podcasts, photo sessions, drag-inspired events, artistic works, and any other everyday dreams.
Together and locally, we want to exchange experiences, both personal and collective, about the queer culture around us. Our goal for this project is to create relationships based on support, care and trust. We would like your participation in “Queerujemy Lublin” to be an experience during which you create your own original project in cooperation with a cultural institution.

Applications can be submitted until August 31, 2023.
Announcement of results on September 11, 2023.
Activities can take place till the end of 2023.
