Bio
He studied physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Poznań (currently Adam Mickiewicz University). From 1978, he was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts (formerly the State Higher School of Fine Arts) in Poznań. Over the years 1987–1993, he was the dean of the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture as well as the initiator and the head of the Extramural Study of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Photographer and photography theorist. He lives in Poznań.
