Performance Platform Lublin 2023

In 2023, Lublin became the European Youth Capital, we want it to also become the capital of performance!

Performance Platform Lublin, which has been held in Lublin since 2009 is an international festival dedicated to the art of performance. This year, we have decided to open the festival to young artistists – up to the age of 30. The festival events will take place at Galeria Labirynt, one of the most important venues in the history of performance art in Poland.

The three festival days will be filled with presentations by artists, screenings of video performances, workshops, a social media off programme, as well as meetings and discussions with festival participants. In the evenings, we invite you to artistic parties to get to know each other better and make contacts for the future.

The festival has no theme or slogan – what is important to us is the presentation of artistic attitudes. The narratives create themselves – as a result of the extraordinary energy of the meeting of people experiencing art happening here and now.

The event will be held in two programmes – LIVE and VIDEO. Below you will find the list of people whose works you will see as part of PPL 2023.

6 PM – festival presentations
about 9 PM – discussions panel and meetings with artists
Attention, attention! 24.06 at the end of the festival after the panel discussion there will be an open party in the atmosphere of electronic disco.
Accessibility: Event in an architecturally barrier-free space on the ground floor. Translation of the evening discussions will be available in English, Ukrainian and Polish sign language. The performance shows as well as the evening party on 24.06 June may be unfriendly for people with sensory hypersensitivity to sounds and lights.
