Galeria Labirynt

About event

We still hear anxious news from Ukraine these days as the full-scale war Russia launched on February 24, 2022, continues. Despite everything, Ukrainians learned not only to survive and fight for freedom but also to continue living and changing society. A year ago, all Ukrainian cultural institutions were forced to cancel their programmes temporarily. Some relocated or closed, others resumed work in a few weeks and adapted programmes to wartime conditions. Our resident from the Artsvit Gallery, Iryna Polikarchuk, will talk about the practice of Ukrainian institutions, focusing especially on the experience of Dnipro (an industrial city bordering the frontline on the Eastern part of Ukraine).
