Biblioteka Azyl’s first birthday – a Queer Barbecue

On the occasion of Biblioteka Azyl’s first birthday, we invite you to celebrate with us. Exactly one year ago we moved our book collection to Galeria Labirynt | Plaza. That’s how a new space for activities was created.

Since then, we have observed how our group has grown in numbers, in relationships, and connections. When visiting Azyl, you co-facilitate book club meetings, share your opinions and experiences during open circles, organize exhibitions, and bring your ideas forward. In addition, there are chats over coffee, choosing a new book to read, or simply being present in silence.

Your engagement in co-creating our program motivates us to act up. We want to thank you for that! So let’s organize a Queer Barbecue! The event will take the form of a picnic and a dance party. We will provide hot and delicious food in vegetarian and meat options. Each person can stand behind the grill and fry something for someone else.

Accessibility: The event is held on the ground floor in a space free from architectural barriers

If you want to gift us something for our birthday, we suggest bringing a potted plant or flower that will later live in the Azyl Library.
