Designing text experiences [EN]

We invite you to a facilitated workshop on the relationship between art and text by artist and SONIAKH digest co-editor Clemens Poole within the exhibition OUT LOUD. The workshop takes as its starting point the six critical essays contributed by SONIAKH digest to the exhibition as both textual interventions (in the form of vinyl quotes) and interactive installation and/or design object (in the form of printed posters). The installation activates a popular format while also expanding the multiple layers of the other artworks presented and their possible interpretation, both collective and individual. The workshop will look at other examples of text used in art contexts, or as art objects, and invites participants to creatively engage text and art for their own projects.

The language of the workshop is English.

Where: Galeria Labirynt, ul. Popiełuszki 5, Lublin
Workshops led in English. The exhibition is held on the ground floor in a space free from architectural barriers.
Admission: free of charge. Registration required through form.
