Queering Lublin – microgrants for LGBTQ+ activities in Lublin | open call

Biblioteka Azyl and Galeria Labirynt invite you to participate in the “Queerujemy Lublin” open call. The project aims to build relationships between libraries and local communities, and is implemented as part of The Europe Challenge.  All projects chosen as part of the “Queerujemy Lublin” open call, will be presented at Biblioteka Azyl’s facilities.

Who can apply

This Open Call is addressed to young (15-27-year-old) LGBTQIA+ people living in Lublin.

Amount of a microgrant

Applications can be submitted up to a maximum amount of PLN 1500 per project.

What can you use microgrants for

We are providing funds to bring your queer thoughts and ideas into action. The proposed initiatives can take on any form. e.g. events with or without an audience, workshops, meetings with authors, lectures, poetry readings, concerts, radio podcasts, photo sessions, drag-inspired events, artistic works, and any other everyday dreams.

You do not need to have experience in organizing events or artistic achievements to be able to submit a project. Our team will help you meet your requirements and needs during your process.

Applications can be submitted by individuals, duos, or collectives.

Together and locally, we want to exchange experiences, both personal and collective, about the non-heteronormative culture that surrounds us. We wish for this project to create a relationship between Biblioteka Azyl and the local community.
