Art rental
Galeria Labirynt in Lublin offers lending of works of art from its own collection for exhibitions in Poland and abroad. The applicant should report the intention of lending the artworks to the Acting Director of Galeria Labirynt by post or electronic means no later than three months before the planned date of the exhibition. The application for the art lending should contain the following information: inventory of the artwork, period of the planned rental, place, title, and basic information about the exhibition, dates of opening and closing the exhibition, contact details of the organiser and persons responsible for organising the lend (e-mail, address, telephone number), data for the lending agreement: full name of the organiser, address and name of persons authorised to sign the agreements.
The decision to lend the work is made by the Acting Director of the Galeria Labirynt in Lublin on the basis of an opinion on the conservation condition of the object. The decision also depends on the exhibition plans at Galeria Labirynt in Lublin, the date and order of submitting the lending application, transport safety, and climate conditions at the place of exhibition, as well as the rank of the exhibition to which the works will be lent. The borrower obliges to secure the conditions and costs related to the lending of artworks, including the costs of a specialised transportation company and to cover the costs of insurance of the works during transport and at the place of exhibition (i.e. from nail to nail).
Approved decision to lend the artworks is confirmed by a written lending agreement drawn up in two identical copies. A signed copy of the contract should be submitted to Galeria Labirynt in Lublin one month before the planned lending. The date and details of collecting works should be agreed at least two weeks before the planned date.
